Blessing your Finances

 

   Did you know that the sole purpose of sowing into Gods Kingdom is so that he can Bless you? When Jesus said " I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly", he did not intend for us to be poor. How can we be a blessing to another person, if we are not able to meet our own needs? All the money we could ever need has already been given to us according to the riches of his Glory in Christ Jesus. If you are not living the financial life you hoped for, then lets look and see what the Bible has to say about  tithes and  offering and how they can bless you.

 

Are you aware for example that your money and everything you own actually belongs to God.

• Psalm 24:1 - The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;

• Haggai 2:8 - ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty.

• 1 Corinthians 10:26 - For, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.”

It is the Lord that gives you the ability to prosper financially.

• Deuteronomy 8:18 - But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

God considers your tithes Holy.

• Leviticus 27:30 - A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.

Did you know that God Loves a Cheerful giver and is so intent on blessing us that he actually wants us to test him on it ?

• Corinthians 9:7,8  - Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

• Malachi 3:10-12 - Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty. “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty.

 Did you know that the Lord will Bless you based on the generousity of your heart?

• 2 Corithians 9:6 - Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

Now that we understand the basics of Gods word when it comes to our tithes, lets decide right now, to STOP letting the enemy steal our financial blessings. God wants us to live victorious prosperous lives and its about time we let our Father in Heaven handle our finances!
